--- Quote from: David on February 23, 2007, 11:37:23 pm ---Well, I do accounting for Gallahue Mental Health Services, a part of Community Hospitals Indianapolis, and I do most of the work out of my house. I only report to the office once or twice a week. So, no snow pay for me unfortunately! But I have NEVER worked for a company that gave snow pay. If they closed down the business for the day due to the weather, everyone went unpaid, unless they had some personal days saved up. Many people are on salary (I am) so it really wouldn't make any difference. We get paid the same no matter how many hours a week we work (believe me, it's not as good as it sounds! They work my ass off sometimes).

I suppose some companies give snow pay, but I have never worked for one.  :(

you know...since I got on the internet last year I am finding out the oddest things. I mean I knew on some level that people worked at home and all. but I don't know anyone that does that kind of thing. How do they know you are working? What if you came here and chatted all day?
