I do try to do right by my fellow human beings, but inevitably fall short at times, due to my fear and self-interest. I don't think most people are particularly good, but I also don't think most people are terribly bad. I don't expect the worst from people, but do feel that trust must be earned, and that one must proceed with caution in many, if not most human interactions.
