Just found the trailer or one of that Sounds of Sand of this movie: "Si le vent soulève le sable",

It is stealing kids from parents so warriors can train them to be murderers?

This does happen in Africa to-day!!

Also the comer-rouge used to do it to keep its rebel army string for what over 50 years or so??

That is one of the reasons that I am exploring the Brokeback Mountain film, in order to stop somehow violence against gay men, women and kids, etc.; see my thread about that movie if you like.

And thanks for your help.

Hugs!

Wow.  It was a really good day.   :)

I'm with you on this. I was floating in the pool in Bay City Michigan and I still remember how wonderful it felt. That was back in February, it seems like yesterday.

It happens in the film, but it's not the main theme of the movie. The main theme is water. Or the lack thereof, rather.

This is a great thread Artiste.

What impressed me today.  This may sound strange, but it was a cloudy, gray, drizzly day here today.

I was impressed by the way that the bare trees look against the melancholy sky.

I was impressed by the feeling of the grayness, enveloping everthing it touches.

If I had the time and talent, I would paint many, many pictures of days like this.
Or I would want to find a way to really put it into words.
