Here are some outdoor shots. I also have many indoor/outdoor shots that contain quotes from the short story or Film. Right now, I have 260 shots. If you want some more, let me know
This is a great idea! I could contribute for the pictures.. Actually I live right by all the scenes where they filmed..I could actually get pictures of "Brokeback mountain" (3 sisters mountain) and others....

I am still considering a visit to your neck of the woods this summer if things fall into place.
Will I be able to get hailed on with the very same hail? ;) I do jest of course; this would be such a cool trip to do. Thanks horo.
I haven't forgotten about your contributions. I am experimenting with some slide show tools so I can build a new application that will showcase our contributions and perhaps run with BBM Radio.
So? Who wants me to quit, please...Click to ENLARGE, and you can move around in the first one, too.
Phillip, I sent some pics to you so check your email. For everyone else heres the actual Brokeback mountain used in the movie. Later!\
Well how many bullriding buckles d'you think he has? (II get it--you mentioned it because th shot isn't IN ther movie at all...). CLICK TO ENLARGE:
Those are great pictures horo35, thanks! When we have our trip to Alberta next year, those will be very helpful. Do you live in the area?
Phillip, my brother spends his summers playing for a music festival in the Tetons. He's also an accomplished amateur photographer, and he recently sent me these great Wyoming pictures. The red rocks are north of Rawlins in the Wind River region:
Hi..yes I do live in Calgary, Alberta. It's very nice around here...hope you enjoy your visit. I like the one pic of yours of the mountains...looks like the same one they used in the poster shot...very cool. 8)
My brother will be glad you liked his shot! 8)
Glad to know a Calgarian, horo35! If you have any input that might be helpful to us tourists, here's a link to the Alberta visit thread. Maybe we'll manage to meet up next year. :)

Well people. I have been looking forward to today for a bit. Horo35 and I are ditching thje kids for the day and going to some of the sites in upper Kanakis. I just love the idea of no kids with us. He plans to go to the scenes we need to hike. So bug him tonight for pics people!!~!! ;D ;)
Hi guysActually the pics are quite detailed but I had to downsize the pixels in order to post em on here. Ohh and I have an extra card on my camera so I can pile em on! ;)
I can't wait for your mountain pics.
Even if yu don't find the exact spots, any pics of the area are great.
I like the way you released the pics over a few days last week.
you are a gentleman Horo and Mrs. Luv.
I hope you have a great day together.
Don't catch too many fish, though.

ps according to the info in your picture files, you have a Kodak C340 camera and you could be getting much more detail in your pics.
Personally, I love to zoom in on pics and check out details and compare them to the movie. Any chance you will be using a greater resolution for your pics in the future, to show us more of these details? I know this means you will get fewer pics on your card, but sometimes ...
M
ps did you do your laundry by the pole bridge?? --oops
mvansand76..you are so funny   But if you can get some pictures of the "Great Dutch Range", perhaps they could be included...Doug
Go for it mvansand76
When Phillip started this thread, he asked for pics on a Brokeback theme.
do you have sheep, beans, cowboys, sheepherders, tents, beer, kissing, campfires, roping, ... in Holland ??
Go for it.

It has been heavenly taking a little trip to Alberta on my lunch break! Thank you so much, horo and iluv. (Thanx for the pic too iluv!!) I look forward to yr visit to the Twist house after the harvest is over. What do they grow there--hay? Wheat? I suppose that is a Flames belt buckle U have, horo, but it looks very similar to a minor rodeo buckle like Jack had!
