mail the other day...it was free, but it cost four dollars for the shipping...I figured I was ahead
of the game, because the items are pricey, but most of the time, ehhh

But I want one, so I didn't bother shopping it. I guess I only wanted a lazy rant about the shipping price. After the amount of money I have spent on BBM related trips and treats, I suppose it was a useless complaint and very unconvincing....
But it will be good to have another item in my reliquery. My biggest regret this year has been, not getting a stone from up on top of Brokenback. I saw others doing it, and I just was too exausted to get one for myself. I wish I had however. oh well such is life.

I am thinking that, too. I'll have to get my 2007 one down and compare. The October 2007 picture is also on the 2008 -- I can see that. I was surprised; there are so many good scenes to include that the new calendar could be completely different.

Six are the same as 2007, Six are new for the 2008 calendar but not for the web.

The first step was to find a free online template of a 2009 Calendar. I found that here.

I left the size selection as it is on the page and just click "Get PDF". That will print out a 2009 calendar, one month per page.

Second, I went to a website that has Brokeback Mountian screencaps (of course, your own faves will do just fine) and saved 12 to my computer.

I then printed the 12 pics out in 8X10 size on regular paper.

go to the local stationary/office supply store, and purchased clear plastic inserts for a 3 ring binder.

place a pic and a calendar page, back to back, attached with binder rings.

Just make sure you put posterboard between the two papers to keep them from bending, and your all set. The binder rings will allow you to flip the pages easily.

Not as "professional" as a "real" calendar, but it does the job. Here are the pics I selected.

I'm going to cut up a spare 2007 BBM calendar, since I like those photos and they're already calendar-sized. I'll simply buy a new 2009 calendar (they're all >50% off already) and splice them together, with the binder rings.
