Title: Life on Mars? What is in the picture?

One of the NASA Rovers called Spirit caught this strange looking object on the Martian landscape. NASA has been analyzing the picture and admit they are a bit puzzled. What do you think it is?

A mermaid on mars!?

Probably just a formation of some sort but it's interesting.

It does look a bit like a mermaid doesn't it Wishes? I can clearly see an arm and a head, but like you said, it's probably just a strange formation.

I voted for a rock.   Don't think Mars has the right conditions to support humanoid life and that's what it looks like.  They should have stopped the rover and moved it closer for more details.

I wish they would have moved it closer too! But from the first picture, it looks like Spirit was pretty far away from the object. I find it interesting that NASA is still "analyzing" this picture. I think I remember reading the picture was taken in 2004 and NASA is still confused after 4 years of scrutiny!

Interesting. I wonder what the hell it was?  ???
