Hello,

Does anyone know how to save videos from youtube onto the hard-drive? I want to save an interview.

Try this site, http://catchvideo.net/. 

Be forewarned that the conversion seems to take a long time, and I can't guarantee the site will work or how long.  From my experience, Youtube is always working to prevent downloads of their content, so sites such as these have a limited life span.

I'll give it a try. If it does not work I'll just film my screen with a videocamera.

HERE is a program that works very well for me...and it is very easy!

http://www.real.com/ (http://www.real.com/)

you download a little program and when you go to Youtube there will be a little popup window right above the screen that asks if you want to download this video....it is pretty quick and the quality is great!!

This site worked very well thanks. I have downloaded an interview with Heath and a number of videos clips of films from the 30's for my parents.
