This was posed on TOB.  Has anybody seen this before!   :o  :D

Wow, that's interesting. I like the idea that we are among the experts informing the analysis. There were a couple of theories on there I hadn't seen before, like the thing about the postcard color. And good links to other stuff -- I had never checked out Dave Cullen's forum before, but this prompted me to take a look. (I like the idea of these various close-knit Brokie communities; maybe someday we'll all get together for a huge convention.)

Thanks for posting that Eric-it was interesting. Like Katherine, I had not considered some of the aspects mentioned in the Wikipedia analysis.

Based on some of the discussions I am seeing on their editing page, I'm not sure how long the page will be there.  The major problem with Wikipedia is that there is a small group of anal retentive control freaks over there who pick through articles and consider the rules for what is and what is not appropriate for the Wikipedia as essentially unbendable, and they usually descend like vultures and delete articles or contributions that they personally feel are not "right" for Wikipedia.  I am seeing some of the initial tone of the discussions heading in that direction, so it may not be around for long.

BetterMost, along with the other discussion forums, used to be linked on Wikipedia, but these same people felt external links to forums violated the Wikipedia "rules" and deleted the whole list.  That may happen to this as well.

Wow, whether it lasts for long or not, it is fun to see that all our discussions here and on the old board are being used reference tools.  Whoever wrote that has paid very careful attention to these forums.  It made me smile to see the Aeneid discussion find it's way into Wikipedia.
