On another (sexually oriented) board, I found this, written by a gay man:

I think we should encourage that usage, to drive out the drab "lame/bad/gay" meaning.

Brokeback: a. redolent of Brokeback Mountain, eg a furtive and infrequent but emotionally charged affair
perhaps?

Good thought, Shuggy!  The concept even reminds me of the movie, "Same Time Next Year".
