Title: ATTN: Bay Area Brokies - One More Time!
Post by: kirkmusic on April 03, 2006, 12:16:17 am: Okay, so we'll all have our DVDs by then. But wouldn't it be cool to see the final theatre screening of BBM at Embarcadero in San Francisco at 8pm on Thursday? Could be one of the last in the country. Plus I haven't met any of you and would really like to do so. ;D

Anyone? Anyone? You know you want to.

Update: I've heard from Pete and Julie and it looks like the 4:15 show might work better for everyone. AND: I'll be singing at the Giants opening game Thursday afternoon (if you see any footage of it, I'll be the guy in the Elvis suit with the other folks from Beach Blanket Babylon), probably about the same time that Pete will be delivering his entry in the Toastmasters Speech Contest at Civic Center in SF "with a 7 minute speech about my reaction to BBM." A great day for San Francisco Brokies!

Update further: It's a definite for 4:15 Thursday

Update further still: Looks like some can't make the 4:15. Pete had a suggestion, a good one I think, that those who can make the 4:15 do so. It would be getting out around 6:45, at which time the early shift could meet the late shift for dinner, then those who can only make the 8:00, and any who want to see it twice, can. ;D

Cool! Thanks for posting it there, Eric. One of my co-workers' girfriends will also join us for a 4:15 show - first time for her!

As I mentioned before, I have dinner plans, but pushed it off until 8pm, so at least I can have a drink with you guys at Fuzio.

I can't wait!! This looks to be the biggest Bay Area BBM Theatre Party yet!

BTW, how do you do that thing when you want to include a portion of the post your are replying to and it shows up in that little box?

you look for the little rectangle about the last post that says "quote" and click on it, and it takes the whole last post and formats it so it will be in purple. You can go in and delete parts that aren't important if you want to emphasize one or more parts.
