They're showing the video for Cowboys Are Frequently (Secretly Fond of Each other). What do people think? I just posted on this somewhere else.

D'OH! It's over...now it's Rufus Wainwright with Maker Makes! Yessss!
Here is a link to see Willie's video:http://youtube.com/watch?v=jAlf37VbHyk&search=willie%20nelson%20secretly (http://youtube.com/watch?v=jAlf37VbHyk&search=willie%20nelson%20secretly). It's kinda campy fun, but in that sense it doesn't go with the song.

What program was it on? Was it that music show "What Comes Next" (or something like that)? Will it repeat? What did they show? Sorry for all the questions!

that was just painfully cheesy. I'm sorry. And what's with Burt Reynold's being in there? God, I hope it never gets shown outside of Logo. They should have just had Willie signing the song on a mountain or something. I hate seeing cheesy crap like this. It's almost as bad as that super cheesy "skating cowboys on ice" clip. These things are more cheesy "Will & Grace" than classy BBM.

I felt the same way. The camera work I can overlook, but the dance routines, the lip synching dude with the braids. Worst moment is that line about getting shot down or shot dead, and everyone falls to the ground very 'artfully'.
I'm not expecting it to be a way somber affair, it's not He Was A Friend of Mine. In a way it's cute to see some of these gay C&W bars. But the end result with the bad dance routines is like an homage to Madonna's Don't Tell Me video.
