In #8, what does the symbol ^ mean?  We didn't have that when I was in 8th grade.

The symbol ^ means the next number is an exponent. So 3^2 would be 3 squared, which is 9.

Well, at least I passed SOMETHING tonight. 

I just failed that Spanish test somebody posted. Mierda!   >:(
