I picked Rocky Road ice cream because it's closest to Phish Food...what kinda ice cream did others choose?

Of the choices there, I picked Butter Pecan.  But I"m a coffee ice cream girl.  Coffee Heath Bar Crunch.  Sits right near the Phish Food, which I've never had.  What's in it?

Phish Food is a Ben & Jerry's flavor named after the band Phish.  A %-age of the profits go to preserve the Lake Champlain, VT area, I believe, which is where Phish originated - the University of Vermont.  It is chocolate ice cream with marshmallow and caramel and fudge phish.  Recently, for some reason - to honor dairy farmers perhaps? - fudge cows were added.  I do know that they allege not to buy dairy products from farms that use the bovine growth hormone.

Phish Food is my Dad's favorite ice cream.  One of the funniest things ever was years ago when he was coming for a visit and I asked him what kind of ice cream he'd like to have for dessert and he attempted to describe this to me.  I said "Fish Food - I love it.  Is it like chum?"  He goes, "It's not Fish like the animal, it's Phish with a P-H like the band."

Little role-reversal, there.

I picked Rocky Road as well, Lynne. I'm thinking I ended with with granola and fruit because I selected one scoop as my ideal serving.

I think it's *awesome* Barb that your Dad knows Phish Food and that Phish is a band.  Mom prefers Cherry Garcia herself, but I repeatedly educate her on how it was named!  ;)

Just one scoop!?!??!?!  Sufficient, certainly, but I don't like to settle for it, as a rule..kinda like beans, hunh?  ;)  Granola and fruit atop any icecream is going to be really really good, though - make you think you're being healthy and such!
