How about: Monopoly, The Brokeback Edition?
The different properties are different areas visited by Jack and Ennis on their fishing trips, grouped by location. Instead of houses, there are tents.
...or "Brokeback Mountainopoly"-- anyway I like it!
The pieces could be a horse, a hat, a harmonica, a cowboy boot, A fryin pan, a tin cup, a watch,
and of course a coffee pot
"Inheritance! One curve in the road and your parents had to miss it... COLLECT $24!!!!"
Oh, now you're making me crazy wanting this game! It would be so mega-cool! 8)
"You've been thrown from a horse spooked by a bear cub. PAY the doctor $200!"
C'mon . . . didn't Ennis get treated for free? :)
"You run over L.D.Newsome with the harvester, no hands. Collect $500"
"Uh-oh. You've got beaver fever. Skip a turn."
"Fast or slow, I like the direction your goin!"
Roll again and advance the number on the dice.
OMG!!
This thread mutated, didn't it??
The last time I looked, we were talking about BBM thing-of-a-jiggies selling on Ebay.... like Jack and Ennis PEZ dispensers for $75.00!!

What is this now? Brokeback Monopoly?
VERY Cool!!!! 8)
It seems to have turned into Brokeback Monopoly for now, David. How about having a go with some suggestions of your own for the Monopoly board? It's fun! :D
Alternatively, you might have some ideas for other BbM collectables that you'd like to share with us; for example, Clyde suggested action figures.
It's always funny to me when I start a thread and it angles off in a direction I hadn't anticipated.
"Brokeback Mountainopoly" seems to the breakout hit!
Your mother keeps your room like it was when you were a boy. Go back 30 years.
"Brokeback Mountainopoly" should be patented real quick. It could make big bucks for whoever does so.
SOME SWEET LIFE!!!! SOME SWEET LIFE!!!! SOME SWEET LIFE!!!! SOME SWEET LIFE!!!! SOME SWEET LIFE!!!! SOME SWEET LIFE!!!! SOME SWEET LIFE!!!! SOME SWEET LIFE!!!!
Advance to The Delmar-Twist Calf and Cattle Ranch!
If unowned, you may buy it from the bank.
That's gotta be the 'Boardwalk' of the game, right? - the most valuable property?
Your low-startle point horse spins and crow-hops.
Lose a turn while looking back to see if Ennis noticed.
You offer to switch places with the player sitting on your right.
You're happy to do it, and get to skip two spaces so as to get a jump on the damn coyotes.
"Randall gives you the keys to Don Wroe's cabin. Advance to LAKE KEMP with the player of your choice."
(J.W. whispers to Fran, "Shouldn't that be Roy Taylor's crappie house? ;D ;) )
How about Brokeback Mountainopoly's Lightning Flat being the equivalent of Monopoly's Jail?
To that end:
"Go to Lightning Flat. Go directly to Lightning Flat. Do not pass GO. Do not collect $200."
=and=
"Get out of Lightning Flat free. This card may be kept until needed or sold."
(Young Jack would have loved one of these.)
And you know how there's the "Just Visiting" part on the Jail space, for when you land on there by a roll of the dice? Well, it works for Lightning Flat:
Just Visiting Mrs. Twist :)
I think I'm enjoying this way too much....
And also agree with "Just Visiting Mrs Twist," though I would peronally prefer, "Just Visiting Jack's Sweet Mama." :'(
Happy Thanksgiving! Go directly to Monroe's house for an awkward turkey dinner.
And another one: You forgot to bring the drinkin whiskey. Skip a turn.

"You doze off with your boots in the fire one boozy night and burn the soles clean off. Pay $100 to the cobbler for a new pair."
[Kerry you're too funny. I am laughing all the way to Brokeback Mountain.]
"Hailstorm! ADVANCE to the nearest tent with the player of your choice."
"Fine Mr Lee $50 for allowing the wire attached to the baby to be seen, in the scene where Alma, crying, farewells Ennis."
<For very, very observant Brokies only!!!> :o ;) :D
Ennis wants his suitcase back (paper sack) go back to Dubois and buy something for the(bag)
go back two spaces and buy $10.00 in groceries

"Inheritance! One curve in the road and your parents had to miss it... COLLECT $24!!!!"
Jeff, these are hilarious! You seem to be really up to date on your Brokieisms. Have you seen the movie lately?
That's the hell of it. It's been years, now. I don't know how I'm dredging up these things. :-\
Tent don't look right. Try again and lose a turn.
You found this this old game and dusted it off again. For that you get an extra turn.
You have to untangle all the sheep. Lose a turn.
Coyotes ate 20 sheep. Go to jail.
