Post by: David In Indy on July 26, 2007, 08:11:49 pm
It's the same Reebok shoe box, but there's something different in there this time!!  :D

Try to guess what it is!  :D

I will reveal the answer on Wednesday August 1!  :D

I guessed one of Cody's dog toys, but I'm not psychic as proven by the last "what's in the box" so it's strictly a guess!! Let me apologize in advance for those for whom the thrill of winning is not enough---you know---those who demand..... prizes.   :P

Hi I'm guessing:
     One of Oreo's toys

Second guess:
     A box of cookies

OOPs  Maybe my psychicness is from the fact that I walked down the cookie aisle at the supermarket today.
MMMMmmmm Cookies.  For sure.

It looks like people are leaning towards animals again.

Well, maybe!  :D

It wasn't animal related last time, so maybe it will be this time!  :D

Now where, oh where, do you see the name "Jess"?

Hmmmmm......always heard "the smeller's the feller".......

If you were an attorney, you wouldn't have a leg to stand on---there's no slander here--no libel neither.

And no "dukes" -- yer talkin' to a pacifist. Course--I can get riled up--if someone kicked my dog, I'm afraid I'd have to kick ass.

I think my threads must be cursed.

Yesterday I started a thread about when Melissa will hit 2000 posts. Suddenly everyone started talking about ponies.

And now tonight with this thread. I simply asked what's inside the box, and here we are talking about kicking dogs and farts.

My threads MUST be cursed. How else do you explain it??  >:(  >:(

Well really David - all we want from you as a prize is a fluffy long haired rabbit but you have to aim high you know and then use the pony as a bargaining tool to get the bunny!!

SO can we have a BUNNY for this one!?!... it won't be too costly to ship to us compared to a pony!!

PUHLEEESSSEEE - *kelda puts on sad face and gives doe eyes*

i went fo the CD - cos its so random and I have no idea who alan jackson is.

You want a bunny Kelda? Maybe I could work something out for you. Bunnies are cute.  :)

Alan Jackson is a country singer. He's very cute and also very popular where I live. And I DO have several of his CDs, including his "Greatest Hits" CD, so you may have guessed the correct answer.  :D

MAYBE you guessed the correct answer!  ;)

Good lord - people, you're all wrong, wrong, wrong  ;D.

It's a jar of marbles. THE jar of marbles we guessed the content of a few weeks ago, to be precise.

(David: don't you dare to reveal something different!  ;)
Otherwise I would be forced to send you a box of marbles and you'll be condemned to count them every single day for the rest of your life.  ;D. Alternatively, I'll send you a box with one female and one male bunny and you'll be condemned to count the bunnies every single day for the rest of your life - your choice).

 ;) :D ;)

Heh - country music doesn't have quite the following in scotland that it does in the US! The only (kinda) C&W singers known over here that I can think of are (and please forgive the spelling!):

dolly parton
leanne rimes
billy ray cyrus
faith hill (?)
shania twain

and the brokeback lot.

That MUST have been a long time ago Shasta. Toby Keith hasn't been ANYONE'S warm up in YEARS!

That would be great if you can find any of those pictures and post them here for us Shasta. I'd love to see them.  :D

The only famous people I've ever met was Isaac Stern and Joshua Bell, both classical violinists. And they both were sincerely warm and genuinely friendly people. I've never met any famous country music singers, which is a shame because I was raised on country music. It's very popular where I live. Both my parents listened to it when I was little. As Alan Jackson says in "Chasing That Neon Rainbow", I was rockin' in the cradle to the cryin' of a steel guitar.   :D

I have NO idea what that means!

oh and Lonestar David, as in:

Lonestar - Amazed
(This is lyrics from www.lyrics007.com)

Every time our eyes meet
This feeling inside me
Is almost more than I can take
Baby when you touch me
I can feel how much you love me
And it just blows me away
I've never been this close to anyone or anything
I can hear your thoughts
I can see your dreams

I don't know how you do what you do
I'm so in love with you
It just keeps getting better
I want to spend the rest of my life
With you by my side
Forever and ever
Every little thing that you do
Baby, I'm amazed by you

The smell of your skin
The taste of your kiss
The way you whisper in the dark
Your hair all around me
Baby you surround me
You touch every place in my heart
Oh, it feels like the first time, every time
I want to spend the whole night in your eyes

Chorus

Solo

Every little thing that you do
I'm so in love with you
It just keeps getting better
I want to spend the rest of my life
With you by my side
Forever and ever
Every little thing that you do
Baby, I'm amazed by you

I don't know HOW MANY weddings I have been to where this has been either the first dance or somewhere in the band play list!

David, you're a BRAVE man!

In defiance of my threats you dared to reveal somethin other than a jar of marbles. You know what that means: the bunnies are already packed in a shoe box (with holes for air, so no need to worry) and will go on a long, long trip soon.

I hope you remember: I now curse you to count the bunnies every single day for the rest of your life. Looks easy at the beginning, but consider that I put one male and one female bunny into the box  :o! Not neutered  :o!

Don't complain, you had your chance.

Well David, look at it this way, at least you will have a self renewing supply of "prizes" for all those poll takers who insist on being awarded something for their cleverness  ;)

If it's not, you're welcome to a few of my bunnies Kelda.  :P

UPS just called and said those two bunnies Chrissi sent me have now multiplied at such an alarming rate they had to repack the bunnies into a very large shipping crate. In fact the bunny situation has become so bad they've decided to line up three large semi trucks for use in delivery once the bunnies arrive state side.  ;)

I like the perky eared ones better. But I took a perky eared female and a lop eared male, so everybody can hope  ;)

Chrissi should have left those two horny bunnies at her house and just sent me Mario! I wouldn't have minded if HE multiplied!   ;) :D
