Title: Chris Klein and Keanu Reeves

Nobody at my house thinks they look alike and I'm always getting those two mixed up!  :laugh:

Sorry man, I personally see many differences there!  Never get 'em confused!!

I think different people notice different sets of features.  For example, I took a lot of drawing.  People would look at 2 very different drawings done of the same model, same pose.  Some would say "that first drawing looks just like him!" while others would be like, "No it doesn't, the OTHER one does!". 

Must be something like that...

Reeves' features are much more thin, aquiline and delicate than Klein's. 
Same for Wolf as opposed to Cruise. (In fact, I see no resemblance whatsoever between those two! I guess they both have brown hair . . .  :-\)

I still think they look alike.

Not so much with Tom Cruise and Scott Wolf. They look similar to me. But Chris Klein and Keanu Reeves look very much alike imo. Not EXACTLY alike, but considering they aren't even related to each other, I think it's rather uncanny!  :D

I don't know who Chris Klein is, but I'm guessing he's an actor? If so, I sure do hope he's a better actor than Keanu Reeves! I've been hearing about Mr Reeves for years and some of my friends think he's hot. I've never bothered seeing any of his movies, 'cause he personally does nothing for me in the looks department. I guess I'm more of a Christopher Meloni kinda guy! Last weekend, a sweet girl I work with gave me a copy of the DVD "Constantine," starring Mr Reeves, with the guarantee that I would "absolutely love it" (with a big wink). I understood from the way she said this (and from her wink), that she found Keanu Reeves cute and thought that I probably would too. Well, suffice to say that "Constantine" turned out to be a tawdry little horror movie, in more ways than one! Not least of all being the horrors of Mr Reeves' "acting" ability! Or should that be, lack of acting ability? "Wooden" is the word that most readily comes to mind! Regarding Chris Klein and Keanu Reeves looking alike? Alas, I can see no resemblance based on the photo's posted. And by that, I intend a compliment to Mr Klein! Sorry I can't agree with you on this one, David, but I had fun responding!  :D

Yes Chris Klein is an actor and pretty awful one too, IMO.

Chris Klein made his claim to fame in "American Pie." He was also in "Election" with Reese Witherspoon. I loved "Speed" with Keanu Reeves and also "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure" but he has been very good in anything else, IMO.

How about some pics to decide if they look alike or not?

As for David's question: yes, I also think Chris Klein and Keanu Reeves look alike. Especially in the pic posted by Leslie Chris Klein looks very much like Keanu.

That picture of Tom Cruise is strangely bad — some dumb photographer used a wide-angle on him.  Wide-angle is so unflattering and should never be used on people (even cute people)!

Keanu and Chris are very different, in my humble opinion.

One of the first thing I notice about men (and women, for that matter) are their eyebrows. Part of the unique expressions that people are capable of is included in the eyebrows. Keanu's eyebrows curve more than Chris's at the ends, although they both have the almond-shaped eyes. I'm sure I could point out more differences, but would require more photographs...  ::)

Now here's a topic I have some strong opinions about!  Being a major Keanu Reeves fan - Kerry, we're just going to have to disagree!!  :D

I see some vague physical similarities between Keanu and Chris Klein, but I think each is quite distinctive physically in his own right.  And IMO, there is simply no comparison in acting ability - Chris Klein is completely unmemorable to me.  I know that a lot of folks think that Keanu has never really lived down the Bill & Ted surfer dude typecast, but I disagree.  His understated performances point to his talent - consider his role in SOMETHING'S GOTTA GIVE - he was the supporting male actor and as far as I'm concerned, stole the show from Jack Nicholson.  Keanu has phenomenal range - from the believable 'everyman' romantic hero in movies like THE LAKE HOUSE or SOMETHING'S GOTTA GIVE (reminds me of Cary Grant) to some of his darker complex roles like the addicted double agent in A SCANNER DARKLY or Neo in THE MATRIX.  I'm not going to hold movies like JOHNNY MNEMONIC against the guy when he looks as good as he does in a wetsuit in POINT BREAK (a tremendously underrated social commentary that I sometimes think I'm the ONLY one on the planet who gets!!).

OK, that's enough of being a fan-girl.  :D :D :D

Joseph Gordon Levitt.  This guy is going places.  I've never seen such amazing talent in one so young.  It was even apparent in his small role in LATTER DAYS.  I dare you to watch BRICK or MYSTERIOUS SKIN and say differently!  :D  Since MYSTERIOUS SKIN, I've watched his backlist, and if he's in a film, I will see it.
