Title: BetterMost Open House Friday, Aug. 24th

Invitation for cowboys and cowgirls, and everybody who wants to take part in the fun  :)

Put on your cowboy gear, saddle up and ride over; the Open Forum will participate in the BetterMost Open House on Friday, August, 24th. We invite you to join us on this board all day long, but especially from 2pm EDT to 3pm EDT, when the progressive dinner tour will stop over here.
Take a look, stroll around, jump into discussions and start new ones  :D.

There'll be food and beverages waiting for you. And as a special we'll have a quiz for you! Come and test your knowledge about the movie and story that brought us together.

We hope to welcome lots of BetterMostians here  .

Was my spelling wrong? My dictionary says the Chinese fruit can be spelled either litchi, leechee, lichee or lychee in Englisch  :o

And how fitting, since Katherine and I are both allergic to horses  :laugh:

I think the lichee and lychee spellings are most common. I have to say, when I saw "leechee" I thought of the blood sucking kind, too, which I why I ordered a cosmpolitan! LOL

I finished that...how about a Mojito, this time?

And don't worry, I am eating plenty of appetizers....

A mojito is a cuban cocktail, very popular in Spain made of rum, lime juice, sugar, stelzer water and mint leaves. It is very good for digestion.

Thanks Natali. I have learned a lot in the last hour: about lichees and leeches, about Lee's, Rodney's and Vermont's(?) lake experience and what a Mojito is. That's a lot for one hour, dontcha think?

So, I'm FINALLY home from work and can join in all the fun around here.  We've started up wine and cheese hour in Social Forum.  I'll be hanging around chat for the next hour or so too!
