This is a Chinese aperitiv with leechees:
Hey, do you need any leeches for that drink? I just happen to have some right here, fresh from Riding Horses Lake in Alberta!!

You don't want anymore of my leeches, I'll be happy to leave you alone... ;D
Well, here's a more appropriate hostess gift for you and ineedcrayons, to thank you for your superb multicontinental moderating coordination and for the fun and challenging quiz!!

Was my spelling wrong? My dictionary says the Chinese fruit can be spelled either litchi, leechee, lichee or lychee in Englisch :o
Thanks, Lee, but NO thanks to the offer for the leeches
Just poppin in to say to hi you guys up here! That Cosmo looks great, Chrissi - I could use one today!
Marie
Awww, thanks, that's so sweet of you :-*
And how fitting, since Katherine and I are both allergic to horses
But we like them anyway. And luckily we're not allergic to virtual hoses :D
I think the lichee and lychee spellings are most common. I have to say, when I saw "leechee" I thought of the blood sucking kind, too, which I why I ordered a cosmpolitan! LOL
I finished that...how about a Mojito, this time?
And don't worry, I am eating plenty of appetizers....

A mojito is a cuban cocktail, very popular in Spain made of rum, lime juice, sugar, stelzer water and mint leaves. It is very good for digestion.
