Our own Lazy L Jack will be celebrating his 64th birthday this Friday, September 21, in Quanah, Texas, with his husband, Ennis!
I know all the fans of the A Love Born from Steel and Through the Veil of Time will want to send Jack their love and best wishes! And if there is anyone out there who hasn't read these wonderful stories, there's no time like the present!
Join me in wishing Jack a great 64th, with many, many, many happy returns!

I've renamed this thread since Ennis has just said he celebrates his birthday on the same day as Jack (details over on the drabblefest). I will also sticky it so folks can find it easily for birthday greetings.

It only seems like yesterday, when we met up with you two fellas. It has been a very
long and happy life we now see you leading. You have Ennis, your children, and your grandchildren as well. You have lost and won so many things. We are just happy that

I really like the idea of celebrating both your birthdays together – it's just so ….right.
Thanks so much for opening your hearts and home to us and sharing your lives. And thanks for letting me pop back down to the Lazy L from time to time to reminisce with both of you. One of my favorite memories:
Jack maneuvered himself into position between Ennis’s legs, then picked up his champagne glass and took another sip. “Now this is my idea a celebratin’,” he said, craning his head to smile at Ennis.
Ennis nodded, smiling back and sipping his champagne. “This is the life,” he said. “Don’t get much better than this.”
“It surely don’t.”
