I was hoping we could have a topic dealing with posting images. I have a burning desire to post my photos and graphics, but I have a lot of problems doing it. And much of the time, people tell me that they have problems viewing the images. A New Year's Resolution of mine is to resolve these problems, and I hope we can do it together so that all will benefit.

Have you had the problem posting images all along? Which photo-sharing site do you use?
Don't know if I can help, but we can discuss! :)

Hi Front-Ranger. I use Photobucket. So far, so good.
-
unfortunately I can't see Photobucket images because they are blocked thru my network. I have been using Divshare but it hasn't worked well for a couple of months. I want to try something else...there are so many to choose from! A service that would let me edit my photos online plus upload images in batches and video/audio uploading too would be nice!! But to do ALL those thing would I fear be like asking Ennis to sang...

Well, so you don't see any pictures that any of us post from Photobucket, huh? I could see your pictures of your tree and your son's birthday, etc. Was that Divshare? Sorry I don't know much about it. Someone will be able to help. Kelda helped me on the editing. I use Paint for that. Maybe she will be able to suggest a better service.

Lee have you tried Flickr?

I just visited Flickr for the first time a few days ago to see Rayn's images from Alberta. It seems like a good site. I'll try it! Thanks for the recommendation.

I have begun testing a replacement for DivShare called box.net which allows for many of the same kinds of services we had through DivShare. DivShare has had reliability issues during 2007 and studying the alternatives is a wise precaution.

Box.net is easy to upload images to, but I can't get them to display on BetterMost. Is it just me, or is the software not a good match?
