Title: New Yorker Review of "Sex and the City" Movie
Post by: Jeff Wrangler on June 12, 2008, 01:29:38 pm
The June 9 & 16 issue of The New Yorker features Anthony Lane's review of the Sex and the City movie. I've never seen the TV series and have no intention of seeing the film, but Lane gets off a couple of good shots worth sharing.

First of all, the review is titled "Carrie."  ;D

Then he describes the four main characters as "banded together, like hormonal hobbits, and all obsessed with a ring."  ;D

Finally, Lane says the film needs a subtitle. He suggests, "The Lying, the Bitch, and the Wardrobe."

As you can imagine, he doesn't think much of the movie.  ::)

Cleverly put. Too bad he didn´t like the movie though. Haven´t seen it - yet. That series meant a lot to me and I think to many other women too so I´ll definately will.
Have to lay low a while now with spending though after all the brokeback adventures 8)
