Fridayblues, the author of "You and Me and a Dog Named Flea" as well as some other great stories, has started a new story entitled "Fragile." Here is her author's note:
Author’s note: I still have fun writing about Jack and Ennis (guess you can see:) so here goes the new story. But I don't want to step into my own shadow when it comes to writing so this story will be pretty serious, and very different from both Wiser Time and Flea. I want to see how far I can go with more intense and complicated plot. But it still is a love story, only on the rough side, and with a hint of suspense. I really hope you will give it a try.
She also mentioned that: Some main events in this not-so original story is based on the Japanese novel/series “Bara no Nai Hanaya” written by Nojima Shinji.
There are two chapters so far:
Chapter 1 - "White Lilies" http://fridayblues.livejournal.com/20349.html#cutid1 (http://fridayblues.livejournal.com/20349.html#cutid1)
Chapter 2 -"Pink Hydrangeas" http://fridayblues.livejournal.com/22633.html#cutid1 (http://fridayblues.livejournal.com/22633.html#cutid1)
I can highly recommend it. It's well-written, which is no surprise, with an original premise and a unique tone.
