Oh I remember him and his "Tiger Army" or whatever. Man he used to make me mad but I just ignored him after a while and he dimmed away. Now he's back? Oh great. Hopefully he isn't bringing all the trolls with him. Maybe he really is promoting this place, though. :-\

Hmmm.. maybe feels if he gets everyone over to BetterMost, that'll shut down the IMDB board! Which was his goal anyways right? He must be frustrated that the are still BBM "Newbies" on the IMDB board that keep it alive. So by sending them to us, it ironically acheives his goal.

Thanks for making this thread. I had seen tigerisjomama's earlier posts and thought he was an obnoxious troll, but the later posts seemed totally sensible. I then saw his post pointing to BetterMost and began to question my trolldar. ???

Nope Larz He's a troll, who seems have undergone a temporary change of heart. What prompted this conversion is anyone's guess but you can bet money it will be short lived. He'll be back to his trollish ways before long I'm sure.

Well I was confused, that's for sure! When the movie was in theatres, I went to the boards at IMDb and it was awful (due to the troll attacks) so I went back to the Sandbox and other boards. Now when I visit "the mountain", I try to check strangers' posting history before replying. Happily, I came back and found out about this place. ;D

It sure is a troll. A very nasty troll too. It has said some very hateful things to me and others on IMDb. Actually I am glad I didn't see it today. I probably would have pursued it and regretted it later.
I can't believe it was actually advertising for Bettermost! That's hilarious. :D

For some reason, I think it's a "him" but I usually call them "it's" also. They don't deserve to have a gender IMO! >:(
I've not been able to find him or his post, but I saw it for the first time last night.
Upon further reflection, perhaps he has been "saved" and will cause no further problems! One can always hope!

Hey Larz. Oh, it/he/they will be back. They ALWAYS come back. They have a tendency to dump a nasty thread, abscond to safety (under a bridge, a cave or where ever it is they go) and come back later to check out any damage they might have inflicted. Normally the damage is "little to none", much to their disappointment, and so they try the whole thing over again. It's a sick, twisted, vicious circle, but they seem to delight in it for some strange reason.
I sure can't figure it out. >:(

Maybe he's had a conversion experience and is now totally sincere. But I see his post as potentially more sinister. Maybe "intelligent discussions" is Tiger code for fresh prey. Maybe he's implicitly encouraging his trollish ilk to make this their next target. Not to say he'll get away with it. But I'd have a hard time believing someone like that has suddenly turned pleasant and reasonable.

I agree, the person has ulterior motives. I still post on TOB as I think it's still one of the world's major discussion boards for BBM. Seems to be slowing down. Maybe ppl who post on IMDB got tired of the hate-mongers and trolls and are at DavidCullen, here or other forurms.
DON'T EVER TRUST A TROLL! >:( To have done a 180 degree turnaround would indicate a bi-polar disorder as others have pointed out.

Hey David, and everyone. As I may've mentioned (somewhere, while talking to someone..), my favorite treatment for trolls is to totally ignore (not feed) them, and act as if they're invisible. If I realize they're a troll, I refuse to dignify their lunacy with a response, but if they are subtle enough, I sometimes fail to check profiles before responding. I had to laugh at your (David's) post on one of the IMDb threads, something to the effect, "you know what's happening here, right?" :laugh:
I'm with you - I don't understand why anyone would want to cause hate and discontent. Sad really. :'(

Tiger is from Sweden? For some reason I always pictured him living under a rickety broken down bridge somewhere in Dogpatch, Indiana typing away on a hamster powered computer.
Well, somewhere in Sweden there must be a broken down bridge with a troll named Tiger living under it. :(

No we suspect the orginal foxinator was this 15 year old kid from Sweden. He now calls himself Herminator and posts and role plays on the Star Wars Board at IMDB Tiger is a 15 year old from Los Angeles, if what he's told me is to be believed.

Yeah, he announced it on IMDb one day when he finally wanted to admit to everyone who he was and stuff. I still don't trust them, though.

To be honest with you, I figured he lived out West some place. He always seemed to begin launching his preemptive strikes later in the afternoon (Indiana is on Eastern time).

While there are many threads dedicated to Ennis and his tragedy,none seem to be dedicated to the plucky Jack.He was the one with the courage to try and make a life with Ennis when he heard of his divorce.But,alas,Ennis turned him away.He was willing to fight for what he wanted.It is a pity that ennis' inherent homophobia never allowed him to truely commit to Jack.

I used to get soooo angry when people would complain about our sandbox chit-chat threads until they were deleted. Even when we would point out it was an OT thread on an OT board. ::) Sadly, last night's semi-reunion thread was just deleted. I guess that's one way to clean one's posting history.

That's a possibility. People make up similar screennames all the time. When i looked at the profile (can't find it now though) I seem to remember having seen some of the bad posts too, but I love the thought!!
LOL-if I had all the time and energy in the world, I think it would be fun to do something like that.

I remember that! He also tried in all his various benign incarnations ( Jomama and Mountainhighpizzapie) to get my son to tell him what my new ID was! LOL...NOW the kid is posting on IMDB that he finally saw BBM and fell in love with it! IF you can believe that!

When I first went to view BBM,it was with a degree of trepidation.A subject like BBM needs to be handled with sensitivity or else it would turn into cringe inducing fare.What I was wary about was that Ang Lee would turn it into some epic romance a k a "a gay-Gone with the wind" with the actors holding hands,staring soulfully into each other's eyes and swearing eternal devotion to each other.What I saw blew my mind away.The film was delightfully understated,unfolding at a gentle pace ,allowing you to empathise with all the characters and allowing you to draw your own conclusions.Somewhere down the line,the gay angle was obscured and it simply became a tragic tale of two people who loved each other but could never be together.It was the simplicity of the film that got me hooked.
Unfortunately,the film seems to have become a victim of it's own success.Because it has been talked about so much,people go to watch it expecting an epic, sweeping romance and then when it turns out to be this gentle,simple tale ,they invariabily become disappointed and perhaps this has prompted a rash of negative threads about this film.Remember,the beauty of this film lies in it's simplicity.

I believe it is facade,though I am not sure.I WATCHED BBM and fell in love with it,like many others.

Wow,he can string together a couple of sentences ! That is amazing.But his post is surprisingly coherent,I must say.
I am sure in a few days time,he will tire of it and go-BBM is evil,etc,etc again !
And Victoria,Jomama tried his best to get me to reveal what your new identity was.To make him mad,I pretended I knew what it was and taunted him saying I would never reveal it to him.
What he dosen't know is that till today,I haven't figured out what your new identity was ! Ha Ha Ha !
