I wish you all were in St. Louis, it is absolutely gorgeous today, and I have the day off for a change! We could all go on a Tremblay picnic!
-
it's beautiful here too, but extremely windy. i also have the day off, but i'm packing. between visits to this board anyway lol
-
Beautiful here as well. High of 75 and it's sunny and not too windy :D We almost had a tornado yesterday tho :o
-
Mandy,
It's so beautiful in Toronto today too! Mostly sunny and WARM. AND, we're supposed to get thunder and lightning storm tonight, which I love - sure sign of spring. I'm off today too (and so far spending it on the computer - gotta get my dog outside and enjoy the day before it's over!)
-
yeah it was really windy here yesterday too... you live in tornado alley don't you brandon? missouri is horrible for tornados too
-
Yep, gorgeous in Chicago, but very windy!
-
Its nice here today too in Mormotropolis.........REALLY cold but nice!
-
Currently 62 and Sunny in NYC, forecast of 70 though I wonder if we will get up that high...
-
It's 78 here in Rochester and sunny... normally here in western NY we don't see much sun until May but today is working out really well. Of course, we lucked out with winter this year by basically not having one. ;)
-
Oddly enough, it's also VERY warm here today in Newfie-world! Beautiful day. It's strange 'cause just four days ago we had a blizzard and class was canceled, and now it's gorgeous out!
-
Too warm here. I went out at lunch and I broke a sweat when I got in my car. It's getting up to 90 degrees today.
-
Yep I live in tornado alley, it's bout that time of year too. I always love when tornados are coming lol it's exciting
-
LOL I'm the same brandon, we always stand on my porch and watch the storms. The tornado sirens will be going full blast and we'll still stay out there. That's probably not intelligent, but you get so used to them that it doesn't matter. We tend to just miss the full blown tornados though, they stay in the more rural parts of missouri, just outside st. louis, but they come really close
-
We rarely get tornados here........SLC got hit with a big one in 99 I believe.....tore the roof off of the Delta Center (Larry Miller owned stadium).....but thats it! We just get 6 feet of snow....
-
snow is also fun! we get all weather here, seriously, it's pretty ridiculous. the past month has been insane, we've gone from a foot of snow one day to 70 degrees and sunny the next.
how you doing this morning chris?
-
I'm cool......just chillin like a mad villian! Preparing myself for the Friday night rush....
How's you?
-
I'm good, thinking about going for a jog or something...
-
Gotta take advantage of the good weather......
-
Say, Brandon, are you anywhere near Lawrence, Kansas? I heard that a tornado went through there and damaged 60% of the campus of KU and they had to shut down classes. Just wondering if you know anything about it because that's my alma mater (say, Alma was a mater!!) ::)
-
Well here in sunny San Diego it is was 55 and raining! Must be liquid sunshine..not raining tonight but the temp has dropped to 38 and it's supposed to continue raining throughout the morning....Oh well it's so nice here most of the time.

I live in Wichita so I'm not very close to Lawrence, I didn't hear anything about a tornado up there ???

Well, it is nice again here today, but yesterday I really missed taking advantage of it when I should have!! I was kind of caught up in trying to get the fools on the Big Board at IMDb to start reporting their deletions. I don't think many people did, and they have a net loss today of 4,000 more posts gone in the past 24 hours. sigh...
Oh well, at least we have this beautiful place here. So very thankful am I.
Since we're talking about the weather, I feel like bringing up this one part of the movie that I love--it's right when Jack and Ennis leave Aguiree's trailer, and the shot is of them opening the door and coming outside into the fresh air and sunlight. I always love the vicarious feeling I get watching that scene, of how good it feels to go outside to that fresh summer morning air and bright light.
Anybody else feel that way? It's like their bodies and souls are more comfortable and free out there than in that cramped llittle trailer.
Well, Happy Saturday everyone!! "Don't let it slip away....it's a beautiful day, hoooo-ooooh"
