Title: "That Certain Summer"

On the evening of Wednesday, 1 November 1972, the ABC Television Network (the one that would see Ellen come out and then cancel her) presented its movie of the week: That Certain Summer, staring Hal Holbrook and Martin Sheen as male lovers, living in San Francisco, when Holbrook's character's son, played by Scott Jacoby, come to visit. Also figuring prominently in the line up is Hope Lange, the ex-wife.

Can you imagine Alma working late, or going to bed early, and Ennis sitting up and watching this?
