Title: Anyone watching "Bob's Burgers"?
Post by: CellarDweller on January 21, 2011, 11:33:59 am
Bob's Burgers is a new cartoon aimed at adults that airs on Fox Sunday nights after The Simpsons.

It's about a family (dad, mom, 3 kids) who own a burger shop.  I figured I'd give it a shot two weeks ago when it debuted, and I laughed so hard.

It's not "high-brow" humor by any means, but I found it really funny.

One of the running gags may be (I say "may" because it's only been aired twice) is the Father comes up with a burger special for their board, and the youngest daughter changes the board to what she wants it to say.  In the first episode the father comes up with a burger name, and the daughter instead writes on the board:

"Today's Special - Child Molester Burger - Comes With Candy!"

:o

Last week's episode the father says:

"Today's special is a burger with Feta cheese on it.  It's called the "Nothing Could be Feta Burger"!

This is what the daughter wrote on the board:

I'm hooked now.  I'll be watching every Sunday night.
