Today Monika and I went for a tour, exploring our own county.

In Örebro city we found an outdoor OPEN ART 2011 installation.

You can see all sorts of arts, everywhere in the town.

"Swiss artist Urs Fischer has created a giant yellow teddy bear sculpture sitting under a lamp (“Untitled (Lamp/Bear") that has been installed in the front of the Seagram Building on Park Avenue in New York City, currently on display until September 30th. The bronze sculpture, weighing 35,000 pounds and 23 feet tall, will be up for auction on Christie’s on May 11th."

During our trip we also discovered a new park, called Osets national park. It`s been a reconstruction for almost 60 years and finally it was ready for the public in 2010. We loved it.

Can you believe that this thing is FIVE BLOCKS AWAY from my apartment??   :laugh:

The first time I turned the corner and saw it, I thought--wha??!! I mean, lamp, ok, or teddy bear, ok, or teddy bear under  a lamp, ok, but this--

Kind of miserable, isn't it?   ::)
