Post by: Front-Ranger on April 23, 2016, 08:37:13 pm
Brokies, it's 10 years in to this thing that has taken hold of us. What are the Brokieisms you use regulary, that have become part of your lexicon? Inquiring minds want to know!

Okay, maybe we don't have time for polls anymore. But it just takes a second! C'mon fellow Brokies!

I don't think I use any of those what you might call regularly.  :(

I know I avoid "scrawny ass" and "GDB etc." because they're vulgar. Appropriate in context of the characters and the film, but still vulgar.

I do use, "You bet!" but more often than not it's inclined to come out as that Sarah Palin-ism "You betcha!"  :(

I do find myself saying "whut"?  when asking a question, and trying to do it like Ennis in the movie.

I'm trying to get my two most beloved cowboys to go out with me to celebrate their twin Taurean birthdays. But, they're dragging their heels. So, I'm about to ask them, "What are you waiting for. . . an engraved invitation?"
