Post by: Jeff Wrangler on April 30, 2021, 10:31:40 am
Witches gather on the summit of the Brocken in the Harz Mountains to celebrate a feast with the Devil.

In Sweden we usually celebrate tonight with bonfires and spring songs.

But nothing this year, due to the pandemic.

Not exactly a bonfire, but these are the traditional songs associated with Valborg (Walpurgis)

In my area Walpurgisnacht is normally celebrated with parties, pranks and jokes of all kinds. Sometimes our cars have gotten egged or TP-ed on Walpurgisnacht.

This year a group of people had a great idea: the morning after Walpurgisnacht, town signs in the area were mixed up! Village A was suddenly named B, B was named C and so on.  O0

Sounds like what we have here on the night before Halloween, usually called "Devil's Night" or "Mischief Night".
