"A" is abrupt. The way Ennis pushed Jack against the wall was abrupt!
-
Alma felt betrayed by Ennis' kiss with Jack.
-
For a couple of minutes, lying against Jack, Ennis has a look of contentment.
-
Jack's first words in the motel scene are "Damn, four years."
At least in the screenplay they are, it may be "Four years, damn" in the movie. Guess I'll have to go watch my DVD *again* just to be sure! DAMN!!!
-
They hold each other's. I love that.
-
Jack couldn't get there fast enough.
-
Ennis was giddy waiting for Jack.
-
Ennis knocks Jack's cowboy hat off during the reunion kiss
-
"thought Id stop and buy you a beer"
-
.. because that's what the kiss is! :P
They hold each other's. I love that.
Love that too!!

Ennis knocked Jack's hat off of his head before slamming him against the wall and planting a big smooch on him. YUM!
-
The look on Almas face when she saw them kiss was pathetic.
-
where the motel scene happened
-
I was what, nine years old and they found Earl dead in a irrigation ditch.
Annie Proulx wrote a lot of dialogue in the Motel scene.
Ang spread out the conversations, and made excellent use of almost every word written.
-
What if Alma hadn't opened the door?
-
...as in 'pleased to meet you, ma'am'
-
Even in the reunion and motel scene, Ennis ain't no queer. ::) ???
-
Jack ain't the restaurant type.
-
When Ennis looked down and saw Jack, "a hot jolt scalded Ennis"
I love that line.
-
time. "Making a livin's about all I got time for now..."--Ennis
-
That reunion kiss is the best example of unbridled passion I can think of.
-
..from the VIBRATIONof the floorboard, on which they both stood, Ennis cdould feel how hard Jack was shaking.
-
"Got out while I could still walk."
-
For Jack to have had all those broken bones, and earlier broken bones, diagnosed, he must have had a bunch of X-rays. Best I can do, No xs at the beginnings of words...
-
From the story:
"Alma," he said, "Jack and me ain't seen each other in four years." As if that were a reason.
-
...zoomed is a synonym for redlined it ;)

I just went and read fernly's original post when she started this game, and she gave the opportunity to change the topic to the person who puts A.
Would it be too crazy or just wonderful if I start yet a new thread, like the person who started this new thread did, when they changed the topic?
UPDATE: I did start a new thread on the last scene of the film. Let's have a group decision if we want to keep splintering topics, or keep them all in one thread. What are the pros and cons of each way of doing it?

....just wanted to make the correction that it was Diana Ossana and Larry McMurtry who did this and not Ang Lee.
-
which Alma would have said as she waved her erase-wand and made that thing she saw happen at the bottom of the stairs never have happened.
:o
-
They pressed so close with their kiss, they could feel each other's heart beating
-
Which is what they did as soon as they got into the motel room.
-
"We'll more'n likely just go out and get drunk.
(pause) ...if he shows" - Ennis del Mar waiting for the reunion w/Jack
-
Ennis exclaimed 'Jack fu***ng Twist' as soon as he saw him.
-
The morning after...and Ennis comes home and says "me an Jack, we're goin fishin'
-
as in "it's gotta be all your time ahorseback that makes it so damn good..."
-
For the hearts reunionited
-
"damn, I sure didnt think we was gonna get into this again"
-
"Just once more before we go"
-
Ennis initiated the kissing by the stairs.
-
Ennis spent the whole day looking out the window, waiting for Jack to arrive
-
Alma says to Jack: "Maybe we could get a baby-sitter, take your friend to the Knife & Fork."
-
" NOW Lureens old mans hes got money, but he hates my guts"
-
"Old Brokeback got us good, didn't it?", Jack lovingly inquired in Ennis' ear.
