Title: Who else is sick of hearing about Justin Timberlake?
Post by: ednbarby on February 12, 2007, 04:48:51 pm
Don't know about you all, but if I see his smug little face on one more magazine cover or my TV screen again, I think I might yak.  Yes, I guess he's talented, but I find him neither attractive nor interesting.  I also think he's probably a complete asshole.  But perhaps that's just moi?

His latest album rocks.

I hadn't noticed he is "everywhere" enough for me to be sick of him ..

It seems like I can't turn around without seeing his face/hearing his name these days.  First, it was the "D*** in a Box" video (which admittedly was pretty funny - an infamous SNL skit he did when he was on in December).  Then it was Britney's split from K-Fed (and the ubiquitous question, "Can Justin Save Britney?" on all the tabloids).  Then it was his split from Cameron.  Then it was rumors of him hooking up with Scarlett Johannson.  Then Jessica Biel.  Then fighting publicly with Cameron about Jessica Biel.  Then Scarlett Johannson again.  Somewhere in there, I got my Entertainment Weekly, and it had a *huge* close-up of his ugly mug on the cover.  Now the Grammys.  MAKE IT STOP!!!

 :P

Maybe I just need to stop "reading" Us Weekly, InTouch, People, and Star at my gym while I'm doing my cardio...

1.  He's ugly
2.  He's too skinny
3.  He can't sing
4.  He's ugly...oh wait I said that.

How our taste in cultural icons has drifted...

Ah - at last.  A boy after my own heart.  I don't mind his singing so much, but that's because I usually shut it off whenever it comes on the radio.  But I totally agree about the ugly and skinny part.  I'd like also to add to that that he strikes me as someone who would be a lousy kisser.  Can't quite put a finger on what makes me think this.  I just do.

The man is a catchy singer, but other than that, there's nothing particularly outstanding about him.  I know other singers/actors/Joe on the street who sing and dance just as well, but are like 100% better looking.  He looks like your younger brother's frat brother but with this very strange whiny tenor speaking voice.

As cute as Justin is, I'm sick of hearing about him.

The same thing with Kevin Federline. He seemed like such a nice kid when he and Brittney first started dating. Now he just acts like a conceited spoiled brat.

Never liked him.

It kills me that he had a song called "sexyback".

#1.  Where did sexy go that he had to bring it back?

#2.  How about we let someone who is actually sexy, bring sexy back?

What do you mean?  I love him!

I gotta love him---he's from MEMPHIS, ya'll.

I have his new CD and it's awesome!!! And those videos--wow!

Sorry. I'm in the minority here.

I'm a fan of most kinds of music because I have a LONG commute to work and I listen to all the stations---but my heart belongs to country.
