Hey everybody...
Its been a few months.. *blush and uncomfortable shuffling of feet*
Okay, I have been absent for too long but I have missed you all terribly. What has been happening?!?! I saw my Subtitles thread had been bumped and read through it for nostalgic purposes and found myself chuckling along again.
I was consumed by a burning desire to watch Brokeback the other day - it has been too long since I have watched it - which made me think of you all. Had to post and say hi! :-*

Hey Sheyne...
Nothing much changes around here to be honest!
but more to the point what have WE missed? How is your life going along? Around your birthday time it was getting very exciitng! please update us!!!
-
Sheyne!!! :) :) :)
Great to hear from you! Was rearranging my pics at work and as I moved my 'Hippo's Brisbane' pic of your patio sent warm thoughts your way, hoping you were doing well.
Let us know how you are doing!!

Glad you're back sheyne!

Sheyne!
Good to have you back, girlfriend. I've been missing you...

Missed you very much, Sheyne! Welcome back! Now bring that Ray back too! We have a Broken Arsed Marathon going this weekend, it would be great if you and he could join us. We now have a Social Events Forum, an Arts and Entertainment Forum, and a radio station that's really cool! We are also betaing a new chat room service, altho the old one is still available. Would love to see you there!!

Fantastic!
Unfortunately, I haven't heard much from Ray lately.. :-\ I'm telling myself that he's wildly in love and travelling somewhere exotic and loving life. At least, that's my hope for him. To be honest, I don't know! I'll try and catch up with him. ;) The chat software sounds good - I'll be sure to check it out, and soon. Missin ya'll so much I can hardly stand it.
My life is quite cool at the moment - I am finally doing what I trained to do: I did my university degree in Special Education and I've landed myself a class of kids with special needs and disabilities. Part of me is thinking "wow this is great" and the other part is thinking "what the hell have I gotten myself into?!?!" :o
My man situation is still going well. We had "the first fight" the other day. I won. ;D But seriously, he's a real sweetie and he's really into me, which is the main thing. :) I'll try and catch you all on the weekend for the Marathon.

Thanks Kelda.. :-*
For those who don't know, I met someone.. Yep a real someone. Not just daily fantasies of Jake Gyllenhaal somehow ending up in Australia and then somehow coming to Brisbane and then... I dunno, walking past my school and saying "Phwoooarr, who's that stocky brunette with all those kids hanging off her?!?" ;D
As it happens, I met my man exactly this way. :P He's a single dad and I taught his son last year. It was kind of a "heaps-of-interest-at-first-sight" thing. I liked him, he liked me, we couldn't do a thing about it cause I was teaching Barton. But after he asked me out for the dozenth time, I thought I'd give it a go, after all it was just after I got back from meeting Charlie in New York (and had abandoned all hope of converting that seriously hot gay man *sigh*) and its really nice.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: "yeah daddy, he loves me".. ;)

Oh Sheyne,
That's wonderful. Congratulations! I am so happy for you...
Hugs,
Leslie
