If you were to remake the movie, where would you END the Brokeback Mountain film?
Which scene?
Or would you prefer one not made? HOW?
Hugs to all!

I would add one more scene. The scene of Ennis at the tavern, watching the men play pool. This was what Annie Proulx saw at the Mint Bar in Sheridan that inspired her to write the story.

Thanks! Front-Ranger!
Tell me about the Mint Bar in Sheridan, please!!
This is a real place, Annie was in??
Hugs!

I certainly would make the ending a HAPPY one!
Would you too?
Or you would prefer another sad one?
Hugs!

No, Art. I would not make Brokeback Mountain have a happy ending. How could it? This story is a classic tragedy. It does have some happy moments, and those sustain us and give us hope. But as for a happy ending, we would have to set that movie in a land where bluebirds sing and there's a whiskey spring.

Wow thanks Front-Ranger!
You would add a whisky-spring?? I smile and found that funny when I just read this a minute ago!!
That would be possibly for a next BM movie??
However, did you realised as I do now, because you mention it, that that is already
in this first Brokeback Mountain film??
(Joke for a joke: if Jack and Ennis would have drank canadian made beer, maybe they would have had sex sooner??)
Awaiting your news,
Hugs!!
