I'd like to thank the people who have offered suggestion as to how we might re-name this forum. Been 2 months since the last suggestion so it's probably way over due, the time ta poll contributors and readers of this forum and make a decision about the new title.
Here's what I'm hoping will be achieved. We should chose a tittle that offers:
1- clarity of content 'bout the forum
2- a (hopefully) shorter name
3- (possibly) a fun name
If you want to add your comments after your vote or add new suggestion (or for any other reason), please feel free to post on this thread.

You could call it Music*Art*Movies*Books and nickname it MAMBO. ;D
Barring that, I voted for Culture Tent. 8)

We may have a trademark problem with "Barnes & Notables" as an option. I'm not legal folk, but we may want to be safer instead of sorry.

I voted for the status quo. Though MAMBO is cute, I might vote for that iffen it was a choice. :)
I agree about Barnes and Notables being a risky idea.

Cute, Meryl, but not very descriptive of what's to be found on the forum. The titles chosen fir the poll all have enough information on them to indicate what folks are likely to find here.
The current leader may not be very descriptive, but it has the advantage of being somewhat cute, somewhat descriptive, and short.
Your other suggestion earlier M.A.M.Bo. is also cute, but also to vague (IMO) until the letter's meanings are explained - so it too lacks in clarity.

Regarding MAMBo, if you did end up honoring it as a serious candidate, I don't think the forum itself should be called MAMBo. It's just a nickname people could use to refer to it. :)

Although "Arts & Entertainment" got over 50% of the vote, in three dif'rent guises, and "Culture Tent" got the rest (nearly 50%), I'm gonna make a request tonight ta have the forum renamed "The Culture Tent".
Thanks to all who chimed in or voted, or just checked out the pole.

The Culture Tent.... Hmmm... you might consider replacing "The" with "Pop" as in Pop Culture Tent, if only because The Culture Tent to me doesn't seem to say entertainment as much as it suggests an art gallery in a tent. :laugh:

Hey, what about the people who like to talk about UNpopular and esoteric stuff? We belong in the culture tent too! Please sheriff Roland, don't throw us out in the rain!?!?
