This would be a transcript of me on the phone trying to help my friend M. with his computer. Hilarious. I don't know if I'll have time to write it during the holidays but I'll try to schedule myself to get up early one day and write it all in one burst.

« Last post by Jeff Wrangler on Yesterday at 12:18:17 am »I may actually watch "The New World" this weekend to see if my memory of Colin Farell's tattoo is correct. The other thing that sticks in my mind is that it was "tribal"--I think that's the term-- but not Indigenous American tribal.
I did watch it tonight. I remembered very little of it, so it was almost like watching it for the first time. All I'll say here is that some of the music was repetitious and New-Agey--which I hate--and has now become an earworm/stuck in my head.

« Last post by Jeff Wrangler on December 13, 2025, 06:06:40 pm »Good grief! I've never heard of such a thing. The manufacturers of the cards should have known and, at the very lest, put a little warning on the envelope saying "Extra postage required"!
I remember buying individual cards in the past that had a notice on the envelope where the postage stamp would go that the card would require extra postage, but that was years ago.
