What’ll I do?  Will I kiss him?  Like I used ta?  Sweetest lips I ever seen, ever tasted.  Or felt.  Ah, fuck, Del Mar!  You ain’t gonna kiss him!  Whatcha thinkin, ya damn fool?  Christ!  Kiss another man out in public?  Christ, anyone could see us, and no tellin what they’d fuckin do!  Ain’t gonna risk Alma seein’ us, no way.  No, ya ain’t kissin Jack here.  That ain’t gonna happen.  Save it for later, Del Mar.

Great tale, Spiceylife! You can't make Jack arrive too soon now, we still got thirteen days 'till September 24th.

Love this, Littlewing! I always laugh because for a second before Ennis gives Jack the greatest screen kiss of all time, Jack has the most startled look on his face. It's as though he's thinking, 'Sheee-it, is DelMar gonna punch me agin'? How do I get myself into these messes?!"
I think I'm gonna write a second part to your "September 23rd (10:32 a.m.). That OK with you, honey pie?

Sure, please do write a second part!

September 24th (2:47a.m.) by Littlewing1957

Jack Twist lay in his bed, sandwiched between his wife and son.  Little Bobby was asleep, his chest heaving against Jack’s side.  He patted his son’s tiny head as he looked upon his wife.  She was snuggled up against him, breathing calmly; not a care in the world.  Jack ran a finger through her silky auburn hair.  “It’s not you..”  He whispered to his sleeping spouse as he thought of Ennis Del Mar: the true love of his life.  If everything was to go as planned, he could leave Lureen, someone he can live with, for Ennis, the one person he can’t live without.  If Ennis said the word, Jack wouldn’t be back.  The prospect of living the sweet life with Ennis both terrified and excited him.  But what of Lureen and Bobby?  Jack had it all figured out.  Just a few hours more, and the second half of his life could begin…

September 24th (2:49 a.m.) by Littlewing1957

Ennis sat up on his lumpy mattress and looked at the battery powered clock on his bureau.  2:49 a.m.!  He was bone weary, but was too hyper to sleep.  The thought of Jack’s visit had him climbing the walls.  Alma didn’t stir, couldn’t image his torment.  She slept soundly, curled up on her side of the warm bed.  He thought about getting a beer to calm his nerves, but thought better of it.  He wouldn’t show up for work tomorrow; he couldn’t.  It was all arranged.  No way could Ennis do an honest day’s work agonizing about Jack driving all the way from Texas to see him.  Ennis had to will himself to sleep, nerves be damned!  It wouldn’t do to be too dang tired to welcome his friend.  When Alma stirred a bit, Ennis pulled her close in an effort to calm himself.  The feel of her supple body somehow mellowed him and he was able to sleep…

Jack had portrayed the devoted husband and the doting father for so long that he'd started to believe his dutiful performance but the truth was, Jack had never stopped thinking about the one person he'd really fallen deeply in love with, yes love, so long ago on Brokeback Mountain.

Love, is that what it was? Jack felt a hot tingling in his chest and his crotch then his hand moved to the growing bulge in his pants; his face went flush at the very thought of that incredible summer, four years ago when the only thing that mattered was the closeness he and Ennis shared night after night.

The shrill ringing of the telephone caused the blood to return to Jack's brain and leaping to his feet, he answered it on the third ring. It was Lureen calling to say that she and the baby would be staying at her folks' home for the night so she wouldn't be seeing Jack before he left on his hunting trip the next day.

I might not be coming back .... "Everythin's fine, 'course it is."   Jack sounded a little too casual, "It' just a long trip is all  .... and anythin' could happen .... I could hook a big one and get dragged under ....  hell, I could get killed changing a flat .... just come home Lureen."

Boy, I'd say he "hooked a big one"! Great forshadowing, little Susiebell.

Lureen laughed out loud, Jack was always so melodramatic, "I'll be there in an hour .... love you honey".  That would give her just enough time to fix her makeup and comb her silky locks.  She smiled to herself, Lureen Newsome Twist was getting some sweet Jack lovin' tonight.

Could this be the begining of "husbands no longer dancing with their wives"? We'll see!

I can't tell you how excited I'm getting at the prospect of their reunion ... but who's going to dare to write it??  Perhaps we should all do it together ... a sentence at a time ... on the 24th!!

Susie

This sounds good to me, SusieBaby!  A sentence at a time?  Sounds like fun!

Coming back to Merced was sort of a letdown after spending some time in the park, but I knew that the cable guy was on the way, so I had that to look forward to.  Just a couple of hours ago the cuttist bear cub of a young man showed up at my door to hook me up.  He was a little chubby, and a little short, and he needed a shave, so it's unlikely that you'll see him in a porno soon, but he was very cuddly and shy, and when he smiled dimples appeared on his round face.  I could have kissed him, especially since he got me back online and I can finally reconnect with you guys.  I promise to answer my PM’s, and read the pages I missed on the board in the next few days.  I’ve got a lot to keep me busy.  I really, really missed you guys, and it’s so great to be back!

Wow, Gary!  I really enjoyed reading through this!  I'm go glad you're back, and I'm glad you were able to take time out to tour Yosemite.  I haven't been there since I was about 13 or so.  Well, I'll let you get caught up, and will talk to you a bit later.  Welcome back, Sugarboo!

September 23rd (10:47 p.m.) By Littlewing1957

When Lureen arrived home with young Bobby in her arms, Jack was asleep on the living room couch.  He was fully dressed, though, and looked very appealing with his head nestled on crossed arms.  Lureen tiptoed past him, even though she wanted so much to wake him and kiss his full, sensuous lips.

After placing the baby in his crib, Lureen looked in on a still sleeping Jack and shrugged.  She wondered if she should disturb his rest; after all, he had a long 14 hour drive ahead of him.  Lureen walked into the bedroom and donned her sexiest nightgown.  She dabbed a few drops of Youth Dew behind each ear, and decided to go fetch her husband and bring him to bed.

He looks so peaceful!  Lureen observed as she brushed the hair on his crown.  She increased the rubbing motion until Jack began to stir!  “Ennis?”  He mumbled fitfully, huskily!  Lureen jumped back, hid her hands that suddenly balled into fists!  She turned and stormed into the bedroom, just as Jack’s vision sharpened.  “Lureen, honey, wait!”  He shouted after her and ran to the bedroom door.  The door was locked….
