Heath gets married!
« on: May 02, 2006, 06:05:33 pm »
In the movies, that is. We are all familiar with this picture:

This is from his new movie, Candy. He doesn't even look like himself, does he?

Did his character get married in any other movies? Anyone have a pic?

You poopie!

I can't think of any others, but I'm not quite the aficionado some of you others are here.  And you're right - he doesn't look like himself in that role, either.  Quite the chameleon, are we not?

A suit doesn't do him justice, I'm afraid. Plop a cowboy hat on that guy before I start dry-heaving!

You tricked me.  Now I can't believe that I fell for that. :)

He was engaged in Casanova.  How about "A Knight's Tale"? I don't remember where the story ended.

Doesn't look like himself? I don't know, that smile is pretty distinctive, even if it looks a little strained.

You know, I don't see Ennis when I look at Heath outside the context of BBM, but in that still from Candy, Heath could pass for nineteenth-century American West, with the longish, Buffalo Bill hair slicked back. One could imagine him here as a turn-of-the-century ranchman, dressed in his Sunday best, posing for the photographer. Okay, maybe I'm stretching here, but basically I don't want to see Heath and Jake as anything other than cowboys now! :)
