I'm not especially into country or Beyonc? so I haven't paid much attention, but this article might hold some answers.

Just saw one of those Facebook Reels that show celebrity aging year by year set to Madonna's "Hung Up." This one featured ... Madonna!

Isn't it funny? I guess I should listen to "Hung Up" because I have no memory of that song at all. ???

Maybe it didn't get much air play in the gay bars I hung out in back then?  ;D

CellarDweller:
I'm surprised you don't remember that song.  It was one of her most successful, peaking at number one in charts of 41 countries and earning a place in the 2007 Guinness Book of World Records, as the song topping the charts in most countries.  It also samples from the instrumental introduction to ABBA's single "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)",

Front-Ranger:
I'm reading this New Yorker article "The Modern Pulpit" about singer/songwriter Maggie Rogers. I've never heard of her, but I like the lyrics that are quoted very much. Apparently she is quite successful. Have any of my fellow BetterMostians listened to her? Just for fun, I tried reading the article and substituting "Taylor Swift" wherever her name was mentioned, and it made perfect sense!
