I'm going to agree with opinionista on this one. Michelle and Heath are going to have to do a lot more to a papparazzi than give them the finger to offend my sensibilities.

Me too.  I would HATE to live a paparazzi-riddled lifestyle.  Even when they weren't visible, I would be twitching, wondering when they were going to show up.

On "Inside the Actors Studio,"  Dustin Hoffman said he HAS to act, that if he hadn't found the success he has, he would be doing it in community theater, or anywhere he could.  That would be me.  I couldn't be a star, with the negative aspects that come along with it.

Me neither, never mind all the fame and fortune. I'd like being widely known in my profession, but only among my peers, the other nuclear physicists or whatever. Not easily recognizable to the public at large. That would suck.

And I would especially hate being photographed in a swimming suit!

I could even be terrifying. The fame, I mean (though my swimming-suit photo, too).

About a year ago, I interviewed Peter Tork, former Monkee, who told me a story of being swarmed by a mob of fans who would have been happy to own a piece of him as a souvenir. He said he was really scared. So not worth it -- not even in exchange for having your face on lunchboxes across the country!

It's not so much that my sensibilities are offended, I just think this is a bit immature. But I can also understand how someone can be driven to act this way.

I guess I don't see Jake doing this. He would probably invite them in.

Maybe nobody told Heath to try being more Jack and less Ennis!

Thank goodness he's not more Ennis...Ennis would have gone over there and whupped those paparazzis' rear ends.
