I´ve just finished re-reading Jacksharmonica´s "Policy of Truth" for the 7th or 8th time. It´s a story that I´ve always loved and without a doubt consider to be one of the best. It´s completely realistic, beatiful in a kind of unassuming kind of way and it´s flawless in its portrayals of Jack and Ennis. Love it, love it, love it.

Ooooooo. I'm going to have to read this one!

I think the longest fics I´ve read are Del Mar Painting, Best Friends Forever and Union Pacific

I finished "Best Friends Forever", and loved it. I've begun Jacksharmonica´s "Policy of Truth", and so far am really enjoying it. It's very well written and entirely believable, because I know guys who went through it for real.

       Sienata's newest story.  She is writing with the intent of a future publication.  It is moving along very slowly, but it
has much to tell, with many details.  Its written about the teen years.  Its Ennis in the future at some kind of turning point'
and he is keeping a journal.  Starts with them in hi school...  Very good.  But the chapters are shorter than her usual fare.
       She says she has no idea yet how long it will be.  So if you commit to it.  Be ready for a long long ride.

"Policy of Truth" is one of my absolute favorites, Ian. Like you say, it so utterly belivable. I have lost count of how many times I´ve read it. Great to hear more people are their way to this story.




I had a lot of free time today, so I re-read B73´s story "Mason-Dixon".

It's been looong ago that I recommended a fic, but today I have one:

It's a short story, five chapters plus epilogue, just finished today. Fresh off the press, so to speak
It's AU! and here is Gilli_ann's

"Brief synopsis:

Jack tells Ennis that he “had to ask about ten different people in Riverton where you was livin’.”  Who were those ten people, exactly, and could their meeting with Jack possibly have impacted them – and given them power to impact Ennis in their turn - so that fate eventually would hold a different outcome for Jack and Ennis? This fic looks at that possibility and Ennis’s related trials and tribulations in a sometime slightly tongue-in-cheek way."
