"I’m climbing the apples."

Apples is short for Apples and Pears which rhymes with Stairs

…. So the sentence means ….."I’m climbing the stairs."

Huh? Man, English sure is a difficult language to learn! I'm sticking to Spanish, myself.

Apples and Pears? Susiebell, I'm worried I'll visit England and I won't know what anyone is talking about!

I'll have to look up the origins of the word "tosser" for you!  It's slang for a man who's .... how shall I put it .... uh hum .... pleasuring himself!!

Oh, now I understand. In Australia, we call such a person a "Wanker"!!!  :D

Hey ... why didn't you do my quiz??

Mainly because I'm completely perplexed by the Queens' English! I swear I just don't get it.
