A NEW BROKIE QUESTIONAIRE 1. What do you consider your most lasting benefit from BBM? Now that some time has elapsed, and you can reflect more unemotionally?I was able to be a me that I like-a lot; took me down a peg or two; introduced me to an actor that I admire (boy is that an understatement)2. How many Brokies have you met in person over the last year and a half.?many many3. Do you now go on trips to meet up with friends from BBM? Or do you wish to do so?I have and would like to again4. Do you still identify with the same character in the movie that you did at first? Or have your thoughts changed?Nope, it is Ennis for me until the end of time. 5. Have you watched the movie again in the last two months.?Parts of it. I told myself I would never do that-never have it on as background, never not give it my 100% attention. But, sometimes I just want to bask in their happy times.6. Do you have any plans to see it soon? Within the next two months.?I don't think so. 7. Have you made any purchases that have to do with the movie, ie...memorabilia, or special things? Clothing, jewelry, other books, movie stuff.?Absolutely. And a tattoo8. What is the one most important truth you think you have gleaned from your Brokie experience?Change is possible9. Do you feel that in any way your time here has been a waste..? If not why not?At one point I thought that I would be the last Brokie standing. I am somewhat sad that I lost that connection to all the joy I felt here but I will be a Brokie a year from now and every year after that. Maybe not with the same obsession as in those early days but certainly with the same love and appreciation. The connection I feel with Ennis and Jack is bone deep. if you don't know the answers to all the questions...say i don't know
