=Rules Clarification Regarding "X"=We believe the rules with regard to "X" were a little fuzzy, so we've edited them a bit to make them clearer.
They now state:
9. [New] Due to the scarcity of "X" words, some flexibility will be allowed with "X" answers.
a) Names or brand names of anything edible or potable with an "X" anywhere in their spelling (not necessarily in the first word) are considered acceptable answers for "X"; for example:
"X" is miXed nuts
"X" is trail miX
b) A played "X" answer may also be used as a valid answer for whatever its first word's first letter happens to be in the event it did not start with an "X". For example, someone can play
"X" is trail miX and someone else can play
"T" is trail mix without a conflict (and vice versa). Answers containing an "X" in their spelling are the only exception to the "answers may not repeat" rule.
Gamely,
Fran and Sandy
