Crazy Sexy Cancer airs tonight!
« on: August 29, 2007, 12:12:05 pm »
Hey cowboys and cowgirls,

I want to tell all brokies about a new documentary called
Crazy Sexy Cancer, about an amazing
woman, Kris Carr, and her journey with cancer that
began when she was diagnosed in 2003 at age 31 with
a rare and "incurable" cancer I can barely pronounce.

Her story is incredible, uplifting, and courageous,
and I urge you to go to her website,

www.crazysexycancer.com
to watch the TRAILER, and then watch the film as it
airs TONIGHT on The Learning Channel at 9 pm. Yay for
Kris and the human spirit she so bravely shows.

Please tell others and enjoy the show tonight.

With love and healing,
Jenny

p.s. Here is an excerpt from her website:

After 4 years of filming, shooting, editing and
writing I am so excited to announce that Crazy Sexy
Cancer will be airing on The Learning Channel (TLC)
this August 29th at 9 pm! Amen! Yahoo! Yeehaw! Please
tune in and spread the word like wild fire. Help us
headbutt the ratings and show that cancer really does
have an audience - it should!  We all know and love
someone affected by it.

Oh, but the good news doesn't end there, no, no, no
mon cherie, on August 27th my advice from the trenches
girlfriend's guide to cancer, Crazy Sexy Cancer Tips
published by skirt books! hits the stands like a
hurricane!  Every golden tool you need for the journey
is in this book!  Finding the right doctor, navigating
insurance companies, stylish hospital gowns, dating,
sex, changing appearances, nutrition, spirituality,
fertility etc, etc darlin'.  Grab a copy for yourself
or pass it onto someone you love.  It's a nitty gritty
manual for facing cancer head on, and if i do say so
myself, it's hilarious!

I'll be kicking off a 2 month book tour (click on the
schedule below for more details) on August 27th with
an appearance on The TODAY show.  Tune in and
hopefully I'll be in a town near you!
