Gardening

Now, I will admit I'm no Gardener - so I'm sarting this thread with the hope that those more green fingered than me - such as Front Ranger and Roland for example, will come contribute.

I got rid of my grass some time ago and now have chuckies (ie cream and gold coloured chips) instead and a small patio and decking area.

Over the last few months my Mum has been giving me more and more pots - but I seem to kill a lot of the stuff off! I'm not the best at remebering to water, although i do try.

I have a lovely white rose bush at the moment - my poor little Kittie - is planted under it. And it seems o be doing well. I guess Sooty has become good fertiliser!  ;D Also, this iss one that I am detemrined to keep well!

I will try to post some pics and perhaps guys you can give some suggestions as to what perhaps I can do to colour up the garden - personally I woudl prefer stuff that will come up year after year.

Alkso, becasue I have slabs, I also have lots of weeds growing up betwen them, anyone got any good suggestions about how to get to the roots of these things so I don't have to weed so often?

I'm no gardener either, Kelda, simply because I have a stamp-sized garden! But... if I did have a big garden, I would def. do more with it, because I do love a nice flowery garden! ;D

I have some flowers and a magnolia tree planted by the side of my garage. I would like to plant some tomatoes over there next year. I LOVE tomatoes!! Mom and Dad had a beautiful vegetable garden when I was a child. Sometimes I would sneak out there and eat the tomatoes straight off the vine when they weren't looking. I'd walk back in the house covered from head to toe in tomato juice, and I'd get into BIG trouble for it!
