Well, the cleaning was finished last night, so that's good!

The walk was over by 11:30, so I went home, had lunch and took a nap, now I'm doing laundry before mom comes over tonight.

Well, we made it through Monday!

Monday afternoon, just about 20 minutes before I left work, the heavens opened and it POURED.  Thunder, lightning, the whole deal.

Downed limbs from trees, floods, traffic snarled everywhere.  I eventually made it home, but ugh, what a disaster!  Oh, and to add insult to injury, same thing is expected today, the same time.

Today's picture is a chedder and bacon quiche, which I happen to be having for breakfast.  I can't remember the last time I had quiche.

the person selected to replace Maria (Minh) has begun to move some of her stuff to Maria's cube, so she'll be able to jump right into helping the team when she officially joins the end of the month.

No payday here, but still Friday, which is reason enough to celebrate!

Will do some light cleaning around the apartment tonight, and tomorrow will be an early Father's Day celebration for my family, at the zoo with Trenton.
