Sue beat me to it. Forecast 40'C (104'F) here today with hot north west winds so a total fire ban. Just the weather I loathe and makes me long for my move to the South Island of NZ. A snowy Christmas sounds like heaven. :)

Seems Christmas is either very cold (up there) or very hot (down here).

Why can't it be moved to Spring.  ???

Ah, but who cares. It's fun whichever way.

Looks like I might be celebrating Christmas in the bush. Probably sharing it with the local wildlife, but it will be peaceful, and a much needed break.  :)

Hope you don't undo all that gym work at the company lunch, Chuck.  ;)

Hey, Brian, you sound as though you can't wait to get to NZ. Hope it comes soon, for you.  :)

Hi Chuck, getting caught up on blogs today as I am so quiet at work. Hope you have a wonderful lunch, I always remember a magical Xmas in NYC once with all the lights, it was the stuff of dreams and way exceeded my expectations, even snow !!
It is about 80 here today, but not humid and I have realised I have not even sent Xmas cards back to England and have way missed the posting date. I will send some today and just apologise profusely, will follow up with E cards .
If I dont get back here tomorrow, have a wonderful weekend. :)
