Ok, that can be arranged.

Ok everyone.....trying something different here.

I'm thinking that every once and a while, I'll do a "original vs. remake" poll, and see which more people like.

here is the first one, and this will be funny, seeing that this a brokeback site, with many country song fans.  The first "battle" I've set up, is a very popular country song.

Just remember, this is not a "which video is better" or "which song is better" contest.  This is which version do you like more.

The first contestant:

Rascall Flatts - What Hurts The Most

This version of the song got to #1 on the country charts, and #46 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The second contestant:

Cascada - What Hurts The Most

European dance act Cascada scored a top 10 hit with "Everytime We Touch" and scored a big dance hit with "Miracle".  Her version of "What Hurts The Most" was released just weeks ago, and NYC radio is already starting to play it.

So, which version do you like?   Vote on the poll, and let us know!

I like both of them. But I voted for "Rascal Flatts" because the theme of the song is sad, so I like the way they sing it. Cascada seems to heal by the end of her video, so the way she sings it for that makes sense.

I don't really "get" the RF video. I know he wrecks (do any other areas put crosses at wreck sites -- my area puts wreaths, crosses, angel statues -- just wondering if it's Southern regional or all over) But -- did she break up, did her dad make her break up, why didn't she say, "I see you" when she was with him, was she sick because of what happened or was she pregnant?? I've watched it several times. Dense, I know. Anybody know?

OK. That's fun to have a contest!

Naw, they do that in Pennsylvania, too.
