Gave the apartment a quick cleaning today, apparently some sort of heat inspection is going on, so all is now in order.  ;D

Work was super busy yesterday, and I had over 200 emails waiting or me!  Ugh!  Today will be the same!

I won't be updating my blog in the mornings anymore, but rather at night.  ::)

Between DCF and Facebook, my mornings are busy, so I would update BetterMost at work.  Well, lately things have been changing at work and they are being a little more strict, and have said that the computers are for business use only, so no internet anymore, or I'll get a verbal warning.  Ugh!

It's been quite rough to break that habit!  LOL, but apparently there have been issues with a few different people, as a memo went out about personal phone calls (I don't do that), appearance, overstaying lunch hours, and a few other items.  The internet was the only one that applied to me.

So now BetterMost will be updated for me each evening instead of each morning.

Why do some people spoil things by overusing privileges?
For many years I worked in a school which was in a different phone zone to where I lived. We were allowed free access to long distance calls. Then it was discovered one teacher was making personal  calls to the other side of the country.
From then on I had to ask the office secretary if I coud make a call to book my car in for service or similar.  >:(

Hiya BetterMost friends!




It was a good day at work, and I was able to leave on time and get some shopping done.  Next Tuesday is a "town hall" meeting for work after hours and the dress code is "business" so I had to get a new jacket.  I got a new shirt as well.

After that I got word about the decision on gay marriage in NJ, and went to a rally at the friends' church I've mentioned in the past, and ended up offering my services for a phone bank.  I'm assuming I'll be one of those annoying people who call to ask for support.  Bleh.

Oh well, I've said I need to do more, so now I am....and perhaps my social circle will expand now even more.

Tomorrow I will work on the apartment and perhaps put up my Halloween decorations.  Sunday is laundry day.
