Being you, I suppose you're gonna use it to hit someone over the head. Yes?

c'mon over and find out.

Thanks Lee!  I give it a quick cleaning after I cook in case anything has spilled or spattered, once the top has cooled, with some Lysol cleaner in the pump bottle.   I also try to give it a deeper cleaning once a week.

I think you should change the name of your blog from Cellar Scribblings to Cellar Scrubblings   8)

Hiya BetterMost friends!!!!

I hope everyone has had a good new year!

I slept in today, and then spent the day relaxing and watching Hallmark Christmas movies.

I know that there are people who watch them all year, but I don't do that.  I like only seeing them during the holiday season, so after Little Christmas,  I won't watch them any more.  Also, my goal is that everything Christmas related will be packed up again by Little Christmas.

I will need to focus on the "monster" report at work until Wednesday (when it's due) and then I hope things will be quiet for a while.

I've never heard the term 'Little Christmas' but knew right away it must be Epiphany. Epiphany is the traditional end of Christmas season over here, too and also the day to put away all Christmas decoration.
Not for me however, I start putting away Christmas decoration sometimes after Epiphany and stretch it out till the end of January. I love my extra lights way too much

Hiya Chrissi, over here, Epiphany is sometimes known as "Three Kings Day" or "Little Christmas".   This year it's Thursday, so I may keep the stuff up until the weekend after, and use that weekend to take it all down.

Here in Denver the tradition is to keep your Christmas decorations and lights going until the end of the annual Stock Show and Rodeo. This year it ends on January 23.

In German it's called "Heilige Drei K?nige" = three holy kings, but sometimes we also shorten it to Dreik?nigstag = Three Kings Day.

I like that, fits with my schedule ;D O0
Now I can tell people I stick to the Denver tradition
