Lindsay Lohan in her cinematic debut was absolutely adorable; Dennis Quaid played her father which was fine with me. My daughter was 7 when this came out and we loved it!

The number one movie for the year was also a "S" movie (Saving Private Ryan) but I loved "Shakespeare in Love" and was not at all disappointed when it won the Academy Award for Best Picture.

Why do people love that movie so much? I've never seen it, primarily because I can't abide GP.
